99% of online stores are supported by only vendors. Vendors are typically people that buy and sell random things out of there house. So they likely don't have much knowledge about what they are selling. At For The Low, we DO NOT have vendors.
You should buy from somewhere that offers at least a 3 month warranty. The warranty should cover your satisfaction with the product. All products at For The Low include a Lifetime Warranty and are guaranteed to meet and exceed YOUR expectations. View our Satisfaction Guarantee here.
There is a specific set of guidelines that should be followed when boxing an item. You can only hope the person you're buying from packs their items well. We take extreme pride in our packaging and you can see that by checking out our boxing process here.
You should consider messaging the person or company just to see if they reply. This will shed some light on what you can expect after purchasing. If you receive a reply, that's a good sign. If you don't receive a reply, maybe you should buy somewhere else. At For The Low, we offer product support for basic things. We also have resources that will help with operating your device.
You should check up on the person or business reviews. Avoid places with negative reviews of course. You can see our only 3 reviews here. Two of them are myself and my girlfriend. It's kind of amazing, we've sold 300 things. Yet, we only have 3 ish reviews.
You should confirm what is included with your purchase. Just the DVD player? The DVD player, the Remote, manual and cords? Everything at For The Low will include everything that the manufacturer included with the exception of obsolete cabling.
Hopefully you found this information useful and thank you for reading this far. Please contact me if you have any questions. I love getting messages from customers.

Ex. I won’t buy anything unless it has been Spencertified.
We are here because we want to be the best place in the world to buy vintage electronics.
Currently, all of the categories below are the ones we carry normally. We add to this regularly.
Things are constructed with many different things; plastic, metal, rubber, wood, copper.
Assembling items requires additional resources:
Every manufactured item requires more than just the material used; gasoline, oil, coal, labor.
Buying used keeps the item alive:
You are keeping the item from rotting in a landfill.
New items require many questionable activities to take place. Buying used only requires shipment and packaging.
