Panasonic DMR-E50 DVD Recorder with Progressive Scan Playback (2003)
The Panasonic DMR-E50 works great as both a DVD recorder and player! It lets you record your favorite TV programs onto blank DVD discs: you can make DVD recordings on rewritable DVD-RAM discs (for playback on the DMR-E50 and some Panasonic DVD players) or write-once DVD-R discs (for playback on nearly all current DVD players). Plus, it makes for a great DVD player as well thanks to its progressive scan output for improved picture quality with an HDTV.
