The Carver CT-17 provides great sound that couples a high-quality "straight wire" preamplifier with an FM/AM tuner that features ACCD (Asymmetrical Charge-Coupled FM Detection) Circuitry to give you the improved sound quality you're looking for in your system. Uniquely, it also features Carver's patented Sonic Hologram Generator, which pairs perfectly with Dolby Pro Logic Surround to give you surround sound effects. It's even rack-mountable so you can integrate it into your system with ease.
