Hallicrafters S-38B Vintage 4-Band SW Radio Receiver Tube (1950) (AS IS)
Check out this rare piece of vintage equipment! The Hallicrafters Co. model S-38B is a really cool shortwave tube radio from the late 40s / early 50s. The S-38B is an AC/DC 4-band superheterodyne communications receiver. It has a standard broadcast band along with three short-wave bands. It's even got a built-in speaker and an AM/CW switch to turn on the oscillator for code reception. Another super cool thing is that this one even comes with its original documents, including the operation manual, advertisement, receipt of purchase, and business reply card.
This system currently has no power, so whether you're a lover of all things vintage audio you're simply looking for a unique repair project, this rare old-school radio receiver will do the trick nicely!
