How does this work?

How It Works

1. Submit the Repair Form

Complete the form above with as much detail as possible about your item.

2. Pay the Inspection Fee

After submitting the form, you’ll be redirected to the inspection fee page.
Select Mail-In or Local Drop-Off from the dropdown, add it to your cart, and complete payment.

3. Save Your Order Number

Once payment is complete, you’ll receive a 5-digit order number.
Please reference this number in all future communication regarding your repair.

4. Get Your Item to Us

Local customers:
Drop off your item at our warehouse during business hours.

Mail-in customers:

5. Inspection & Evaluation

Once received, your item will be inspected by our technicians.
Standard inspection turnaround is 4–5 weeks.

Expedited inspection options (non-refundable):

  • $100 – Immediate inspection

  • $50 – Inspection completed within 5 business days

6. Next Steps

We’ll contact you with an update once the inspection is complete.

  • If the item is ready, we’ll arrange pickup or return shipping.

  • If additional work is required, we’ll provide a quote or estimate for approval before proceeding.

What if the parts are not available?

Most of the parts that we need are available for purchase. If yours by chance is not available, we will look for workarounds, but may not be able to complete the repair.

What items do you repair?

We repair many different types of electronics. We mainly work on vintage audio video gear. This includes but is not limited to, VCRs, DVD players, CD players, Laserdisc, Cassette Decks, Beta, Reel-to-Reel, 8 Track, Turntables, Blu-ray, Amplifiers, Speakers, and much more. There are some items that we do not accept or require additional fees. Please contact us if you are not sure.

Do you work on all brands and models?

We specialize in vintage audio and video electronics. While we work on many brands and models, not every unit is serviceable due to parts availability, condition, or prior repairs. An inspection is required before we can confirm serviceability.

Does the inspection guarantee repair?

No. The inspection fee covers diagnosis and evaluation only. Some items may be deemed unrepairable due to unavailable parts, severe damage, or prior modification.

Can I check on the status of my repair?

Yes. You may check in at any time. Please include your 5-digit order number in all communications so we can assist you quickly.

Do you offer any warranty on repairs?

Yes. Repairs are covered by a limited warranty on the specific service performed. Warranty details will be provided upon completion of the repair.

Do you work on items that have been previously repaired?

Yes, but prior repairs, modifications, or missing parts may affect serviceability and cost. These factors will be evaluated during inspection.

Do you provide return shipping?

Return shipping is billed separately unless otherwise stated. We will confirm shipping options and costs before returning your item.
