The start of the 21st century saw Mitsubishi releasing this HS-U449 VCR with all of the most high tech features of the time. Unlike other VCRs, this one offers a high speed performance boost with its Alfa 500 Precision High Speed Mechanism which fast forwards and rewinds at the speed of light. If you're looking to record programs, this device has a Mitsubishi-only special feature, PerfecTape, which analyzes the quality of the tape and then adjusts the device's internal circuitry to give you the best possible recording.     My Sony 400 disc player stopped working. I watched YouTube videos and came across this website. Since 90% of failures are the belts I decided to try to fix it myself with the help of the video. It was the belts and after installing them it works great again. I received the belts really quickly and with no prior knowledge took the case off with help from the video and installed the belts myself. So happy to have my player working again.
