If you're looking for a really nice pair of floorstanding speakers, the Wharfedale E-50 pair is an excellent choice. These are full-range speakers with 3-way bass, mid-range, and treble drive units. They've even got variable crossovers for bass and treble contour adjustment and a front port. The Wharfedale E.Fifty speakers are really efficient and sound as great as they look. Housed in solid cabinets with walnut veneer, these vintage speakers will let you rock out to your heart's content.
