Carver PM-1.5 Magnetic Field Power Amplifier 450W Rack Mountable (1983-89)
The Carver PM-1.5 is an incredibly cool power amp: it operates with the use of magnetic field technology, which results in a highly efficient system that generates little heat. Unlike conventional power amps, which stores a large amount of power in a capacitor, this amp uses a magnetic field coil, which connects directly to the AC power line so that there is no power shortage even at high peaks. Together, this results in a stereo power amplifier that delivers an incredible amount of power in a tighter, lightweight, compact case.
