Motorola X 300 Mid-Century Stereo Console Record Player in Drexel Cabinet (AS IS) (PICKUP ONLY)
The Motorola X 300 three channel stereo console is a beautiful example of why most modern audio equipment doesn't hold a candle to vintage systems. Crafted in the 1960s, this system was one of the most unique consoles of its era. It was one of the very first "Solid State" consoles, and Drexel wanted to show off this newer tech by placing the controls in the panel on the underside of the lid (something that wouldn't have been possible with tube technology).
When you do open the lid to this handsome solid hard-wood cabinet by Drexel, you'll find an AM/FM stereo tuner and a 4-speed turntable. The front of the console has four cabinets: two open up to reveal storage space perfect for storing records and knickknacks and two open up to reveal the speakers.
Unfortunately, this system's turntable won't power up, the AM/FM tuner dials are broken, and the right and left channels have problems; this is being sold as-is so if you're looking for a real vintage restoration project, this would be a great way to go!
Please note: this item is available for LOCAL PICK-UP ONLY!

At Spencertified, we are experts on a wide variety of electronics. Unfortunately, we do not have the time or resources necessary to fix everything that comes in our shop. So, rather than throwing it away, we give our customers an opportunity to tinker.
