Von Schweikert VR-4 Audiophile Quality Floorstanding Speaker Pair RARE
There are incredible speakers, and then there are the Von Schweikert VR-4 speakers. The audio from this pair is insane: it has a wide, dynamic, three-dimensional soundstage with deep, articulate bass and beautiful timbrel accuracy. You won't believe their crystal-fine clarity and vivid detail. They're some of the finest loudspeakers you'll ever hear.
They're also big and classy. The VR-4s are a 2-piece tower speaker system where the midrange / tweeter module docks nicely on top of the bass module. The bass module features two 8-inch woofers with separate crossovers. The midrange and tweeter module have separate time aligned cabinets. Both modules are dowel supported and covered with a thin black cloth. When fit together, they form an elegant tower with hardwood end caps and hardwood center docking strips. This combination of black and wood is gorgeous and creates a unique speaker you're unlikely to find anywhere else.
