We bet you haven't seen one of these particular systems in a decade or five! The HP 182T is a storage oscilloscope. An oscilloscope is basically a testing instrument that graphically displays the volage wave form of one or more signals. The 182T is a solid-state system made for fast writing rate storage uses.
The model 182T is an X-Y axis display instrument designed for use with real time, sample and TDR, and spectrum analyzer plug-ins. The instrument contains the CRT and its controls, lo voltage and high voltage regulated power supplies, a horizontal amplifier, and a gate amplifier. This system currently has display issues and needs a full calibration, but for the right person who wants to give this amazing system the service and care it needs, it can become the perfect oscilloscope!
