Preamplifiers
Looking to spice up your home stereo setup? Preamps are a great way to add tonal qualities to the sound of your audio system. A stereo preamp will provide you with the tone control and volume control you need to get the exact sound you're looking for. Home stereo preamplifiers offer you freedom over your audio. If paired with a compatible power amplifier, the result is an incredibly clear, focused sound.
WE HAVE MANY OPTIONS AVAILABLE
Audio preamplifiers come in many different shapes and sizes. One of the first decisions to make is whether you want a tube pre amplifier or a solid state. Both amplify signals, but a tube pre amplifier produces a warmer tone compared to solid state preamps. They're more expensive and harder to find, but they are incredibly pleasing to the ear.
Our audio preamps have different features as well, like built-in graphic equalizers, listening modes, and easy input selector control. You can also choose a stereo preamplifier from one of our high-quality brands, like Carver, NAD, Lexicon, Aragon, Kenwood, or McIntosh.
PHONO PREAMPLIFIERS
If you have a turntable but no receiver or amplifier with a dedicated "phono" input, then you'll need a phono preamp. A phono preamp will convert the audio from phono to line, significantly boosting the signal to get it to a level similar to your other components. Turntable preamps sell quickly, so if you see one you like, be sure to get it before it's gone!
