Unit powers on, the transport engages, and reels turn smoothly. However, the “Play” function will not stay engaged, and the tape counter is not working. Audio circuits and amplification test well, with clear output and stable motor operation otherwise. Tubes are intact and functional. Cosmetically, the deck is very clean with only minor wear from age.
