The platter bearing was inspected and lubricated, while the motor, quartz-lock circuit, speed selector, tonearm, cueing mechanism, and automatic-return system were checked and adjusted. Controls, switches, and electrical contact points were cleaned using WD-40 Specialist Electrical Contact Cleaner, which is safe for electronics.
