You're unlikely to run into too many of these up for sale! The Hafler XL-600 is a hard-hitting power amp that still sounds excellent. For those of you who love the numbers, it's rated at 305 watts per channel into 8Ω (stereo), 900 watts into 8Ω (mono) with a frequency response of 10Hz to 50kHz and a THD of 0.08%. So it's capable of driving any known loudspeaker load, with sufficient power reserves to suit any home stereo setup. Plus, its refined circuitry will deliver that power with an accuracy that promises to satisfy the most demanding of audiophiles.
