You can both play and record on this deck, and recording is made more fun with the microphone inputs, which allow you to connect mics with a jack connector and create live recordings. This system also features Dolby C NR, which provides 20 dB of noise reduction above roughly 1,000 Hz, double the amount from Dolby B-type NR.
