The Fisher Diplomat Console is a beautiful example of why most modern audio equipment doesn't hold a candle to vintage systems. Crafted in the 1960s by Fisher, the Diplomat was the audio connoisseur's choice of console.

Housed in a gorgeous wooden cabinet, this system contains a tube preamp with a built-in tuner and a powerful tube amplifier, along with built-in speakers. Opening the top of the cabinet reveals a sensitive AM/FM stereo tuner with adjustable knobs and a Garrard 4-speed automatic turntable. The back of the unit even has an auxiliary input so you can connect any audio source to it, including a Bluetooth receiver to play songs from your phone. Oh - and did we mention the speakers sound amazing?

Every function has been confirmed 100% working. We have cleaned it inside and out and replaced any worn parts. The needle has been replaced if it has gotten worn down/broken. My Sony 400 disc player stopped working. I watched YouTube videos and came across this website. Since 90% of failures are the belts I decided to try to fix it myself with the help of the video. It was the belts and after installing them it works great again. I received the belts really quickly and with no prior knowledge took the case off with help from the video and installed the belts myself. So happy to have my player working again.
