Garrard Type A70 Vintage Automatic Turntable Heavy Wood Base (AS IS) (1960s)
The Type A70 is a quintessential Garrard turntable. Garrard has a reputation for combining detailed engineering with unassailable integrity. The Type A70 is an automatic 4-speed (78, 45, 33, and 16) turntable that was made in England during the 1960s. It features a heavy wooden base that is incredibly easy to fall in love with. Unfortunately, the auto functions had to be disabled (as it made the platter scrape), and it does need a new cart, but it spins fine manually without any issue, so for the person who wants to give this amazing system the service and care it needs, it can become the perfect vintage turntable!
