The GV-8020 has Sync Edit which synchronizes the two tape decks and gives clean manual cuts in editing to get rid of some of those bloopers you might not want living on forever. It also has a distinctive Timer Record Menu that uses a calendar format, making it simple to schedule recordings for a specific date and time.
