Hafler Series 9505 Trans-Nova Stereo Power Amplifier 250W Rack Mountable (1994-97)
Hafler amplifiers are power redefined, and the 9505 is living proof. It's a third generation Trans-Nova (Transconductance Nodal Voltage Amplifier) design, making it similar to the 9303 in construction. However, it's bigger, heavier, and more powerful: while the 9303 is rated at 150 watts, this 9505 is rated at a whopping 250 watts per channel into 8 ohms. It also sounds incredible. It's detailed without being harsh and musical without being laid back. The soundstage is layered and deep so you can hear every detail in your music without any annoying humming or background noise. It's excellent in terms of build quality, and you're unlikely to find a system like this just anywhere.
