They say that S-Video isn't supposed to upscale standard VHS tapes, but from looking at it, I would say that this JVC VCR definitely produces a sharper image than other VCRs. Not only does this VCR look beautiful aesthetically, but it also functions beautifully. If you want to best picture quality, this is the VCR for you. Get it before it is gone!
The JVC HR-S6900U is the VCR equivalent of a Lexus. It is luxury from its exterior design with simulated wood side paneling to its interior with 4 heads, hyper bass, and S-VHS capabilities for an enhanced viewing experience. The features also add to the overall value of this machine. The jog shuttle knob on both the VCR and the remote allow for quick rewinding and fast forwarding. Its audio dub capabilities allow you to erase and replace prerecorded audio on tape with the use of an external device. One of the more unique features of this device is the Family Message Center which lets you leave messages to be played on the TV screen and notifies you of a new message with a blinking light on the VCR.
