JVC KD-D4 Single Stereo Cassette Deck Super ANRS (1981)
Jam out with the serious tapeheads using the vintage JVC KD-D4! This is a great tape deck for listening to your old music and recording onto cassette. It's a single deck that features a two-color fluorescent Spectro Peak Indicator, which allows for optimum recording level adjustment, and a single-motor logic tape control system, which allows for soft touch operation.
Best of all? This deck uniquely features Super ANRS (Automatic Noise Reduction System); ANRS was JVC's essentially Dolby-B compatible noise reduction system as they didn't want to pay royalties to Dolby. Super ANRS isn't compatible with Dolby B, but it tapes the effective noise reduction power of ANRS and employs a dynamic headroom extension circuit, allowing more dynamic range extension. But all you really need to know is that it's a great system that makes your tapes sound awesome!
