Nikko STA-1101 Vintage Modular AM/FM Stereo Multiplex Receiver RARE
The Nikko STA-1101 is worth every penny spent on it. Nikko isn't the most well-known brand, but all of their equipment is incredibly well-designed and laid out. For those not familiar with them, Nikko was the largest supplier of circuit breakers for JNR (Japan National Railroad) and that gave them the start in the electronics industry.
The STA-1101 brings a whole lot to the table. For those of you who like numbers, this piece of equipment features 37 watts per channel into 8 ohms, a THD of 0.5%, and a frequency response 10-70 KHz. You also can't beat the fantastic build quality, which is heavy, durable, and complete with a steel faceplate. The front is incredibly unique with separate AM and FM tuners and large tuning scales on the left that look like a TV screen. This is an amp that only comes around once or twice in a lifetime. So if you want it, be sure to grab it before anyone else does!
