This is a recap kit to address the two common issues that often plague this model:
- No Power: A common issue is that the unit unexpectedly stops powering on. This is caused by the use of low quality capacitors that often go bad and have a tendency to leak.
- F60 Error or stuck on "HELLO": These units have a shared DVD and HDMI output daughterboard, which makes use of low quality surface mount capacitors. This kit will typically address the F60 error, and if the DVD drive is a known good drive, also address the stuck on "HELLO" issue.
