The Pioneer VSX-523 is an AV receiver with 5.1 channels, 80 watts per channel (20Hz-20kHz .08% THD @ 8 Ohm), perfect for a beginner just starting a surround system setup. It features Dolby Digital and DTS, so you get wide-range, high-fidelity surround sound whether you're listening to a CD or watching a DVD. It also features four HDMI inputs so you get 4K ultra-high definition pass-though. My Sony 400 disc player stopped working. I watched YouTube videos and came across this website. Since 90% of failures are the belts I decided to try to fix it myself with the help of the video. It was the belts and after installing them it works great again. I received the belts really quickly and with no prior knowledge took the case off with help from the video and installed the belts myself. So happy to have my player working again.
