The wood-grain veneer cabinet has some signs of wear, with a few chips, and the chrome accents are in good condition. The analog tuning dial operates smoothly, and all controls function as intended. My Sony 400 disc player stopped working. I watched YouTube videos and came across this website. Since 90% of failures are the belts I decided to try to fix it myself with the help of the video. It was the belts and after installing them it works great again. I received the belts really quickly and with no prior knowledge took the case off with help from the video and installed the belts myself. So happy to have my player working again.
