Toshiba made this little machine in 1987 and this was the first S-VHS machine they made. Hitachi, Mitsubishi and Panasonic all came out with S-VHS VCRs the same year, but as you can see, the Toshiba has stood the test of time. We here at SpenCertified have not seen another model S-VHS from the first release year until now. This Toshiba has S-Video output to deliver higher quality video playback and recording.
