The Sony CDP-C235 is a five-disc carousel changer from 1993, built during the stretch when Sony was putting real transport engineering into mid-line consumer decks. It loads five discs on a rotating tray and lets you swap four of them without stopping playback of the fifth — the practical appeal that made carousel changers the default living-room CD source for a decade. This one has been through our bench, not just plugged in and boxed.
