This NAD 6340 has been professionally refurbished and is in excellent working condition. All playback and recording functions operate smoothly, and the transport mechanism has been serviced for reliable performance. Our technician also replaced the older belt with a higher-quality one and replaced the older pinch roller with a new one. The heads have been cleaned and demagnetized, and the Azimuth head has been aligned. All buttons, meters, and inputs are fully functional. Cosmetically, the unit shows some minor surface scratches consistent with age, but nothing that affects use. A solid, great-sounding cassette deck ready for daily listening or archiving tapes!
