Wollensak 1280 Vintage Magnetic Tape Recorder Detachable Speakers (1965) (AS IS)
The Wollensak 1280 is a two head, quarter-track mono/stereo recorder with two speeds, 3¾ & 7½ ips, that uniquely features an automatic shut-off switch that will stop the unit at the end of the reel or in case of tape breakage. It features detachable speakers that combine to form the case lid. This system currently has no power, but for the right person who wants to give this amazing system the service and care it needs, it can become the perfect reel-to-reel system!
